STJ hires Duprie as new athletic director

VICTORIA, Texas — St. Joe has their new athletic director.

The school hired formed Victoria West assistant James Duprie as AD and head football coach on Friday to replace Bryan Jones, who departed for a position in El Campo. More recently, Duprie worked as assistant football coach and girls powerlifting coach at Rockport Fulton High School.

“I’m really thrilled to be at St. Joe,” said Duprie on Friday. “And I think that’s one of the good things — is that they’ve had success in a lot of sports and that’s my goal, to continue that.”

Duprie will officially report to the school on Monday.
