STJ Boys Basketball Looks To Stay Unbeaten In District

Flyers Play In Brownsville Wednesday Night.

St. Joe boys basketball looks to stay unbeaten in district tonight.

The Flyers are 3-0 in district after beating John Paul last Friday night at the St. Joe Dome. All three wins have been blowouts. The St. Joe boys, 15-5 overall, are ranked fourth in the Texas Association Of Basketball Coaches private school 5A poll. Two of the Flyers told our Sean Coffey the keys to beating Brownsville St. Joseph on the road tonight.

Said senior Jacoby Robinson, “I mean it’s gonna be a long ride. We’ve gotta keep our mind right, stay focused, and just continue the chemistry we had last game and come up with a win.”

Said senior D’Ary Patton, “Stay warm, you know, play as a team. Run our plays right and we should execute every time.”
