Victoria, Texas -
UHV men's soccer hopes to continue its greatest start ever on the road.
The Jaguar men have won their first ten games of the season for the first time in the program's history. Even bigger, the UHV men are 2-0 in Red River play after picking up wins at the Cage over Paul Quinn and A&M-Texarkana last week. I asked two Jaguars how great they feel about their best-ever start.
Said center striker Adrian Mendoza, "We feel great. But we're always hungry for more. There's always room for improvement. We're not satisfied at all. We want to keep getting better and better. "
Said RRAC Men's Offensive Player Of The Week Brody Patience, "10-0 is nice to have as well. But the main thing is we want to win this conference. 2-0 in conference is the main thing. We go into Thursday and Saturday trying to make it 4-0. "
UHV soccer continues Red River play Thursday afternoon at Texas College. Ladies' game first at 1:00.
