EL CAMPO, Texas- EÂ Campo head coach and athletic director Chad Worrell has announced he is leaving the school district. A report from KULP radio says he is on his way to the Dallas, Fort Worth area. Worrell says he addressed his players earlier today informing them of his decision. In a message to KULP radio, he says he is moving to be closer to his family and grandchildren in Gunter, where he expects to be named head coach. Worrell recently coached in the All-American Bowl and took over El campo just over two years ago. El campo will now be actively seeking a replacement.

Zachary Brown was born in Houston where he first gained interest in journalism at a young age. He got his start in broadcast news when he attended the University of Oklahoma and covered news for OU Nightly and many great Sooners teams (Boomer!). Outside of work, the only thing he is passionate about are his Houston sports teams and Sooners football. He is excited to serve the Crossroads and is looking forward to exploring Victoria.
