VICTORIA, Texas – South Texas Tails helps local pet owners who are in need of fences.

The goal is to reduce the number of chained dogs.

Many people have yet to replace fences lost due to Hurricane Harvey.

“So many people in town that just need the education,” said Kaitlyn Ingram, a South Texas Tails volunteer. “I think it is because a lot of people just have dogs on chains, and well no, they should be able to learn how to treat their dog, and I’m just so big on that and education, and that’s what drives me to do it.”

South Texas Tails is constantly collecting supplies for fence rebuilding and supplies to help pets in need. To learn more visit their Facebook page.
