Sex offender operation results in five arrests and two unrelated arrests

The Victoria Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, in conjunction with the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force and Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, recently conducted a Sex Offender Operation on Thursday, August 2, 2018. This operation targeted sex offenders that did not comply with their conditions resulting in a warrant for each of their arrest. The following were located, arrested and taken to the VCSO for booking.

Alejandro Salgado, 35yr old

Warrant: Sex Offender Duty to Register

Mark Rodriguez, 40yr old

Warrant: Sex Offender Duty to Register

Bradley Massey, 27yr old

Warrant: Sex Offender Duty to Register

Christopher David Moeller, 35yr old

Warrant: Failure to Comply w/Registration Requirements

Terrence Walker, 37yr old

Warrant: Sex Offender Duty to Register

Subsequent charges applied: Possession of Marijuana <2oz

Possession Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 <1Gram

During this operation, information was received from the VCSO that a wanted subject that was listed on Victoria Crime Stoppers Crossroads Most Wanted Subjects was at a residence nearby. The officers in the Sex Offender Operation were able to utilize their resources to capture this wanted subject in addition to their operation.

Damien Rhoder, 33yr old from Victoria

Warrant: Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence and Evading Arrest/Detention With Previous Conviction

Rhoder was located at a residence in the 300 block of N. Brownson with a female who also showed to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Monica Gonzales, 32yr old

Warrant: No Valid Driver License and Violate Promise to Appear

They too were taken to the VCSO for booking and left with the jail personnel.
