Scattered Storms Sunday; Drier Trend Next Week

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms today in the Crossroads. The heaviest of rain occurred north of Victoria. Some locations received between two and three inches. We will see more storms redevelop Sunday. However, I believe Sunday will not be as wet like Saturday. The upper low in Central Texas will shift north and west by Monday. As a result, drier air will shut down our rain chances next week. Temperatures will climb back into the upper 90s by next weekend. In the tropics, we are watching one tropical wave between South America and Africa. National Hurricane Center only gives this area a ten percent chance of developing. In the marine forecast, bays have a slight chop and seas are at three feet.
