Scattered Storms Becoming Isolated In the Next Few Days

Another typical summer day is expected for the Crossroads with highs into the lower 90s and lows in the middle 70s. You can expect scattered showers and storms throughout the area. As the upper high moves back into Texas, our rain chances will be on the decrease. We will see isolated storms daily. Our temperatures will be rising back up into the middle 90s.

If you heading to Port O’Connor, bays are looking smooth with seas only at 1-2 feet. In the tropics, Tropical Storm Chris is slowly getting stronger as it sits in the Western Atlantic. An upper disturbance will move Chris into the open Atlantic as a hurricane. The remnants of Beryl still causing heavy rain in the Caribbean and strong winds. The National Hurricane Center gives the remnants a 50% chance of redevelopment in the Atlantic. The good news for the Crossroads is the Gulf is quiet.
