Salvation Army to host Thanksgiving Day luncheon

The Salvation Army announced Monday the Community Thanksgiving Day luncheon, will be held at Salvation Army headquarters on 1302 N. Louis Street in Victoria.

Turkey and Dressing with all the fixings will be served on November 22nd from 11 AM – 2 PM. Even though, The Salvation Army is still in Disaster Recovery mode ourselves, awaiting roof repairs so that we can resume our daily soup kitchen and reopen our homeless shelter – we could not pass up this opportunity to serve those in our community in need.

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 by William Booth. The Salvation Army of Victoria, TX was established in 1958.

We’re committed to “Doing the Most Good” through donors and partners who share a desire to help our neighbors in need. Providing basic needs when hard times hit, along with care and aid for those living on the fringes of society is at the heart of The Salvation Army.
