Salvation Army provides supplies and care to Victoria

The Salvation Army continued its disaster relief efforts today, providing supplies and warm meals to Victoria County residents.

Since August 30th, the Salvation Army of Victoria has provided over 34,000 meals, 50,000 bottles of fluids and many more supplies to Victorians in need.
Officials also say they have provided emotional and spiritual counseling. Public information officer Jacqueline Rachev says emotional counseling has been just as important as the supplies they have given.

“Disasters are traumatizing. You’re tired and you’re weary and sometimes you just need someone to talk to. So, that’s what we’re there for as well.” said Rachev.

The organization is asking for any donations that can help provide financial support for supplies and additional care. You can go to to donate.
