Salvation Army Of Victoria updates thrift store plans
Thrift store now scheduled to reopen January 25
The Salvation Army Of Victoria thrift store closed its doors last March due to the pandemic.
They had some staffing issues and they were following CDC guidelines at the start of the pandemic.
The store was expecting to reopen in the summer of 2020 but due to other unforeseen issues they were unable to reopen. Now Captain Kenny Jones, the commander and chief at the Salvation Army Of Victoria, has moved the reopening of the thrift store back to next Monday. Captain Jones says the store closure has caused a huge financial impact for the Salvation Army. He told us remodeling of the store started mid-December, and that the store is all new front to back. Captain Jones says they will also start a live store on Facebook.
