Salvation Army Of Victoria ready to reopen Thrift Store
It'll now be called Salvation Army Family Store
Victoria, Texas–The Salvation Army of Victoria is making so many changes in its thrift store, it’s even changing its name.
The Salvation Army of Victoria Family Store officially reopens next Monday. Salvation Army Of Victoria commanding officer Captain Kenny Jones tells us they have completely redone the store, adding 2,000 square feet of sales area. There’s a new shopping cart area, new fitting rooms, and a Salvation Army history showcase at the front of the store. Every Wednesday a different color will be featured, and everything in the store in that color will be 50% off. Captain Kenny tells us that on opening week they’ll have giveaway bags for customers, and that they are sanitizing the store every day. They also will do live Facebook events like sales. The Salvation Army of Victoria Family Store is at 4303 North Navarro.
And take note of this. The Salvation Army of Victoria warming shelter will be ready to open when the temperature here drops below 38 degrees. The warming shelter is at the Salvation Army of Victoria main office at 1302 North Louis Street. Captain Kenny tells us that they have more room at the warming shelter so they can assist single mothers and their families.
