Salvation Army of Victoria hosts its annual Thanksgiving dinner
414 meals served from 11 AM to 1 PM
VICTORIA, Texas – The Salvation Army of Victoria hosted its annual Thanksgiving dinner today. 414 meals of pork chops, green beans, and potato salad was served to the community from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
However, there were some changes made to the event. Instead of a dine-in, it was a drive-thru dinner. The dinners were also served on the San Antonio street side of the warehouse because of road work.
This Friday, Salvation Army starts its Christmas Kettle Campaign at two locations in Victoria: the Walmart Supercenter and Hobby Lobby.
