VICTORIA COUNTY, Texas – A rise in COVID-19 cases in Victoria County from May to June.
This information from Victoria County Public Health Department Director David Gonzales. In May, 142 new COVID-19 cases in Victoria County. That’s an increase of 103 new cases in one month. In June, 466 new COVID-19 cases in Victoria County. An increase of 324 cases in a month’s time. That’s an average of 15.5 new cases per day in June. Gonzales said that’s the most new cases in one month since January, but he added hospitalizations have stayed pretty low.
