Registration for fall classes at VC begins July 17
Registration for the Fall 2017 semester at Victoria College will begin Monday, July 17 and run through noon on Thursday, Aug. 17 at VC’s Student Services Building.
Advisors will be available during normal office hours (7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.) to assist students in the registration process. Students can also register at VictoriaCollege.edu via the Pirate Portal.
“Students should register for classes as early as possible, because classes can fill up rapidly,” said Bobby Cubriel, VC Advising & Counseling Services director.
The more credit hours students have earned, the sooner they can register. Students who have completed:
45 or more credit hours can register beginning Monday, July 17 30 or more credit hours can register beginning Tuesday, July 18 15 or more credit hours can register beginning Wednesday, July 19 0 or more credit hours can register beginning Thursday, July 20 Incoming freshmen will need to attend a mandatory Pirate Orientation session before they can register for classes. The remaining Pirate Orientation sessions at the Main Campus are scheduled for Monday, July 24; Thursday, Aug. 3 and Tuesday, Aug. 8. Pirate Orientation at the Gonzales Center is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 1. New freshmen can sign up for Pirate Orientation at VictoriaCollege.edu/PirateOrientation.
“The earlier freshmen attend Pirate Orientation, the better chance they have of getting the classes they need before they fill up,” Cubriel said.
The fall semester begins Monday, Aug. 21 and ends Dec. 15.
