Regional Infusion Center experiences busy day

The center offers free services to the community seven days a week

VICTORIA, Texas – On Wednesday, Dec. 15, the Regional Infusion Center stayed busy helping Covid-19 patients in Victoria.

The Regional Infusion Center, located at the Mitchell Guidance Center, is now in its 14th week of operations. Twenty-seven patients received treatment at the infusion center, located at 306 East Commercial Street, on Wednesday. As of now, a total of 810 patients have received treatment at this location.

The facility is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Medical professionals are able to administer a monoclonal antibody treatment to approximately 30 to 40 patients daily. The infusions are used for Covid-19 patients who are not yet hospitalized or on oxygen supplements.

The Victoria Infusion Center will close from Christmas Eve. Dec. 24, through the day after Christmas, Dec. 26.
