Red and white summer league concludes

The first season of Victoria’s Red and White League since Hurricane Harvey is officially complete.

The summer basketball league came to a close with Tuesday’s championship games, following a month of action at the District Events Center. In division four, Pure Fitness defeated Buesing Fencing 36-29, while American Detail won division three by defeating JHC Insurance 34-29.

In the older groups, Crossroads Tire defeated the South Texas Warriors 45-33 to claim a victory in division two. Daniel’s Small Engine Repair beat Konquest Designs, 61-56 to win the oldest group, division one.

The Victoria Red and White Boys Basketball League had 30 teams competing this summer in total.
