Rebuild Texas Fund donates $2.3 million to Crossroads organizations
VICTORIA, Texas — In the month of June, the Rebuild Texas Fund awarded over two million dollars to organizations in the Crossroads to continue rebuilding following Hurricane Harvey.
In total, $2.3 million dollars were donated in the region, including over one hundred and sixty thousand dollars to the Victoria County Long Term Recovery Group.
The fund also donated seven hundred thousand to the Woodsboro ISD to help replace their band hall.

Rebuild Texas Fund provided a grant of $167,952 to the United Way of Victoria County on behalf of the Victoria County Long-Term Recovery Group to fund the Development Coordinator, Disaster Case Manager Supervisor and a Disaster Case Manager positions for one year. These three positions are essential for the completion of repairs in Victoria County and home builds in the Bloomington Hope Meadows project, in collaboration with Rebuild Texas Fund grantee Mennonite Disaster Service.
Rebuild Texas Fund provided a grant of $700,000 to Education Service Center 3 on behalf of Woodsboro Independent School District to help build a new band hall to replace the old one that was severely damaged by Hurricane Harvey.
Rebuild Texas Fund provided a grant of $165,000 to Missions on Wheels to continue operations for one year and add necessary capacity to the organization.
Rebuild Texas Fund provided a grant of $362,006 to Bayside Infrastructure Projects to complete vital repairs to the City Hall & Community Center that were severely damaged during Hurricane Harvey.
Rebuild Texas Fund provided a grant of $215,364 to Bloomington ISD to assist with the repairs to the elementary school roof that was severely damaged during Hurricane Harvey.
Rebuild Texas Fund provided a grant of $79,101 to Eagle’s Nest to assist with vital repairs to their facility and build additional restrooms and showers needed to serve their increasing student population.
Rebuild Texas Fund provided a grant of $657,000 to Victoria ISD to assist with vital repairs to repair two roofs that were damaged during Hurricane Harvey.
