Rainy Monday evening, with a cold front on Tuesday
Overnight, we wiill not get much cooler than what we’re at right now. Looking at lows in the low 60s for the Crossroads this evening. Fog could also develop and be an issue in some locations. This will linger into your Monday morning, so make sure to leave for school or work with ample time to get to your destination, and use your low beam headlights if you encounter areas of fog.
Monday will see increasing clouds ahead of the cold front with highs reaching near record temperatures in some locations. Highs will be in the mid to low 80s. Monday night the rain will begin with numerous showers and thunderstorms overnight into Tuesday. Anticipated passage of the cold front looks to be early Tuesday morning, with temperatures decreasing throughout the day. Lows on Tuesday will be in the mid 30s.
After that, the rest of the week looks beautiful and sunny, with temperatures slowly warming into the weekend. Another cold front is possible Sunday night into Monday, but we will have to nail down the timing as we get closer to the event.
