Low: 42. Winds: N 10 mph. There is a 60 percent chance for rain with less than 1/10th of an inch but higher totals if thunderstorms trigger.
Thursday: Cloudy with decently strong winds and more rain measuring 1/2″ to 3/4″ while temperatures stay below average in the mid 50’s. High: 54. Winds: N 10-15/G20 mph. 80% chance for rain.
Thursday Night: Cloudy and on chilly side with temps cooling into the lower 40’s. Low: 42. Winds: N 15/G20 mph. A 60% chance for rain.
Friday: Mostly cloudy skies with below average temperature’s only warming into the lower 50’s. High: 52 Winds: NE 10-15/G20 mph. A 40% chance for rain showers.
Extended Forecast: Friday Night thru Wednesday: Temperatures will be cold most of the week with highs in the 50’s but mostly in the 40’s. Lows will be in the 20’s and 30’s with clouds most of the week and rain/snow chances increasing on Monday after another cold front moves into the area on Sunday night. A wintry mix of rain, snow and sleet could be a part of the Monday forecast.
Synopsis: A cold front is pushing through South Texas on Thursday and will do so for much of the week while another cold front pulls much colder air down from the north on Sunday night. Winds will be around 20 mph for most of the week, while clouds keep rain chances alive for Thursday and then again on Monday and next Wednesday.
