Rain chances keep filling the forecast
VICTORIA, Texas — That moisture keeps on coming, and we need it, so I’m not complaining. Rain chances do taper from 40 to 20% once we start the work week, but hey, any chance for rain is a good chance when we’re 10 inches below normal.
Saturday looks good if you’re keen on dodging some showers and storms. Highs will be in the upper 90s with heat indices in the triple digits though so make sure you’re staying hydrated should you choose to spend it outside. Rain chances are around 40% so thunderstorms and showers will be scattered across the region.
The rest of the week looks about the same as Saturday. Rain will be scattered to isolated, and highs will be in the upper 90s. Not much of a cool down at night either, with lows staying in the upper 70s, to near 80 degrees some nights. Definitely make sure you remember your heat safety tips and staying hydrated if you work outside for the next week.
