Rain and Storms on the Decrease in the Crossroads
Another day of showers and storms throughout the Crossroads today. As of a result of the earlier rains, temperatures are in the 80s area wide. Similar to yesterday, showers and storms will fizzle as the sun goes down. Monday we will see more showers and storms. However, it will not be as wet as the upper high will begin working itself back south. During the next seven days, we will just see our normal daytime showers and storms with daytime heating.
As our rain chances decrease some, our temperatures will be rising back into the middle 90s. In the tropics, we are still watching Beryl and Chris. Tropical Storm Chris is still meandering off the coast of the Carolinas right now. Over time, Chris will move further away from the united states. Beryl is continuing to weaken as it encounters drier air and wind shear in the Caribbean. Beryl is likely to become an open wave Tuesday.
