"Keep on Loving You" RIAA plaque will be presented to Floyd's sister
HOUSTON, Texas – Ben Crump, nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney will join LaTonya Floyd, sister of George Floyd, and Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon at a news conference on April 9 at 12 p.m. Central Time for a prayer vigil and call for justice for George Floyd. The vigil will be held at The Community of Faith Church in Houston, and the Floyd family will be in attendance.
“Keep on Loving You”, a hit song by the band REO Speedwagon, was a song Floyd and his sister used to sing to each other. The band members learned of the sentimental value that their song held and will be presenting LaTonya with their RIAA plaque for the song to commemorate her brother.
