Poster Contest Celebrates Black History

It is Black History Month and students around the crossroads are learning and celebrating the culture. Fifth grade students from local elementary schools created posters to be displayed at the University of Houston Victoria. The posters celebrated black educators in the crossroads and around the country. Every student studied the achievements of each of their chosen trial blazers and wrote about their life with pictures on each poster. The seven finalists were displayed at UHV with winners to be chosen and awarded.
