Port O’Connor shoreline cleanup event needs volunteers and boats
This year's annual shoreline clean up in Port O'Connor is still happening, they need more volunteers and boats to help cleanup all the leftover plastics in the water.
PORT O’ CONNOR, Texas – On Saturday, September 18, the San Antonio Bay Partnership will have their annual shoreline cleanup.
Allan Berger enjoys fishing, swimming, and sailing on the bay but he wants to make sure it stays clean for all the sea creatures, fishes, and people who visit all year round.
For anyone who wants to help keep these local water sources plastic-free can sign up to volunteer and help clean up.
SABP also needs anyone with a boat to help clean on September 18.
Registering is easy, just email volunteer names and number of boats (if applicable) to Allan Berger at AllanRBerger@outlook.com before Thursday, September 16.
