Port Lavaca’s Mayor keeps his seat

Port Lavaca’s new City Council is announced and incumbent Mayor Jack Whitlow is reelected with 295 votes out of 354 votes casted.

“It’s great, I love being mayor of this town.  This town has the greatest people in the world. It’s a community that works together and there’s so many new things happening over the next few years. We have some new developments, some new retails. We have hotels coming in. Soon as we  get through this pandemic, I think things are going to start busting loose here in Port Lavaca.  It’s really looking great for this city,” said Whitlow.

Whitlow got help from his friends and made calls for his campaign. He has big plans for Port Lavaca, especially once this pandemic is over.
