Final election results released at one in the morning

At long last...

VICTORIA, Texas-

Update: At long last the Victoria Elections released the official election results at 12:59 a.m. Wednesday morning. These are the official numbers for he primaries. Click here to see how the races finished.

Update: As of 10:08 p.m. The Victoria Elections office finally posted numbers on their website. Only 15 out of all 26 precincts have been uploaded to the website, representing 42% of the votes. These numbers are unofficial. We will update our elections page as soon as the numbers come in.

As of 8:40 p.m. Newscenter 25 is still waiting for any election numbers at all. Officials at the Victoria County Elections Office informed Newscenter 25 that they are not sure when they will have numbers (early voting or today’s ballots) and no idea when poll numbers will be released.

The Victoria Elections website has remained stagnant all night. Almost two hours after the polls closed there are still no updates for the public regarding how the races are stacking up.

Super Tuesday poll results around the Crossroads are unusually late this year. According to one of the workers at the election administration office of Victoria County, the early voting ballots were not counted until after the polls closed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Newscenter 25 was informed that today’s polling results will be counted after the early voting results.

We’re hoping to have early election results as soon as possible. Check back on CrossroadsToday.com for updates and watch Newcenter 25 for live updates.
