Polar High Pressure to Induce Freezing Morning for Wednesday

Freeze Warning Until 8 am Wednesday

Polar high pressure moving into the Lone Star State is bringing very cold air to the Crossroads tonight, resulting in several hours at or below freezing. A freeze warning is in effect for all central and southwestern Crossroads counties until 8 am. Another sunny but cool day is in store for your Wednesday, with a brief freeze anticipated again early Thursday. Expect mostly sunny conditions on Thursday ahead of a strong upper level storm system that will bring rain and a few thunderstorms Friday and Friday night. Up to an inch of rain may fall from this system. Clearing and warming can be anticipated for your weekend and early next week. Late week highs will be in the 60s, warming to the 70s next week. Lows in the 40s through the weekend will moderate to the 50s Monday and Tuesday.
