Synopsis:  Halloween will be pleasant but clouds will increase Halloween (Monday) Night.  Disturbances will push into South Texas from the west on Monday night.  Increasing moisture levels from the disturbances as well as from the Gulf will lead to rain showers Monday night into Tuesday.  Fast moving upper levels will be the lifting mechanism for more showers on Tuesday.  Minimal amounts of stored energy from the sun should keep thunder at a minimum.

For the long term, Tuesday through Saturday, disturbances push through the Crossroads on Tuesday and as the sun starts to strengthen energy levels, nearby high pressure will push down on the atmosphere limiting energy from the sun from producing thunderstorms other than out over the open waters.  Another disturbance should move into the desert southwest on Friday and approaching South Texas by Saturday.  Gulf moisture increases Thursday through Saturday but high pressure will promote drier times on Sunday.

Tropical Update: Tropical Depression #15 southeast of the Cayman Islands is moving west northwest at 10 mph with 40 mph winds.  There is a 90 percent chance of further development over the next 48-hours and over the next 5-days.  Tropical Storm Conditions will begin on Monday for Jamaica and for the Cayman Islands on Tuesday in the warning areas.  Interests along the coast of Central America near Belize should monitor the progress of this system.
