Pirate Orientation sessions scheduled for VC’s incoming Fall 2017 freshmen

Victoria College has scheduled six Pirate Orientation sessions at its Main Campus and one at its Gonzales Center for new freshmen planning to attend classes during the Fall 2017 semester.

All new freshmen are required to participate in Pirate Orientation. Students can sign up to attend Pirate Orientation beginning June 1. Students will attend presentations and meet faculty, staff, and other students who will play an important role in their success.

“This is a great opportunity for incoming students to get a feel of the VC campus, determine their preferred educational paths, discover the numerous services offered here and learn about their responsibilities as VC students,” VC Director of Advising and Counseling Services Bobby Cubriel said. “Students have found that Pirate Orientation is a great way to get their college education off to a running start.”

Pirate Orientation will be available on the following days from 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.:

· Thursday, June 22

· Thursday, July 6

· Thursday, July 13

· Monday, July 24

· Tuesday, Aug. 1 (Gonzales Center)

· Thursday, Aug. 3

· Tuesday, Aug. 8
