Adopt Aussie and Shelbi

Pet Of The Week Graphic 5 28 21

Today is Fri-Yay and here on Sunrise that means it’s also time for Pet of The Week.  A segment where we highlight a couple of shelter pets here in the crossroads looking for their furrever homes.  This morning we want to introduce you to two furry friends, one cat and one dog, both from the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption center here in Victoria.

First up for you canine lovers out there, meet Aussie!  His sweet 1 year old girl is listed as a medium Catahoula Leopard dog mix.  Her personality is described as a wonderful companion who loves being with you all of the time.  She is fixed, it’s unknown if she is house trained though.  Aussie has been at the shelter since May 28th of this year, so she’s very new and she’s ready to find her forever family.  If you’re interested in Aussie, her adoption fee is two hundred dollars.

Next up for my cat lovers, my feline friends.  We have a beautiful cat to introduce you to today.  Meet Shelbi.  This sweet boy is 2 years old, yes don’t let the name fool you, he is a boy.  He is listed as a domestic shorthair who is also relatively new to the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center. He has been there since May 12th of this year.  He is fixed as well.  He is listed as a small grey and black cat.  We’re unsure how he does with other animals, but you can get more information if you reach out to the adoption center.  All we know is that he is ready to find his purrrrrfect family.  If you’re interested in Shelbi, his adoption fee is 120 dollars.

Here’s how you can get in contact with the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption center if you’re interested in either Aussie or Shelbi.  You can visit them at their location at 135 progress drive here in Victoria. You can also call them.  Their number is 361-575-8573.  If you’d like to take a look at all the furry friend’s they have waiting to find their furrever families.  All available cats and dogs are listed on their website at www.docpacdot.net.
