Pet of The Week For Fri-Yay 4-30-21

Adopt Starbuck and Goro

Today is Fri-Yay and coincidentally National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day… and now…here on Sunrise that means it’s time for your Pet of The Week, where we highlight some local shelter pets looking for their furrrrever homes. This morning we want to introduce you to two furry friends, one cat and one dog.. Both from the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center here in Victoria.

First up for you canine lovers out there… Meet Starbuck!

This sweet 1 year old boy is a large great Pyrenees, Shetland Sheepdog… This big guy weighs about 62 pounds…

He is fixed… It’s unknown if he is housetrained though…. Starbuck has been at the shelter since April 21 of this year, so he’s very new, but very ready to meet his forever family.

If you’re interested in Starbuck, his adoption fee is two hundred dollars…

Next up for my cat lovers, my feline friends… This sweet face will melt your heart.

Meet Goro… Look at those eyes!! This sweet boy is a 2-year old domestic shorthair who is also relatively new to the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center. He’s been there since the first week of April. He is fixed as well… Also housetrained. He’s a medium sized cat … and it’s unsure how he does with other animals, but you can get more information if you reach out to the adoption center. All we know is that he is ready to find his purrrrrfect family.

Here’s how you can get in contact with the Dorothy O’connor Pet Adoption Center if you’re interested in either Starbuck or Goro…
