Pet of The Week for Fri-Yay 5-20-22

Pet Of The Week Graphic 5 28 21

Today is Fri-Yay, and here on Sunrise that means it’s also time for Pet of The Week.  A segment where we highlight shelter pets here in The Crossroads looking for their furrever homes.  This morning we want to introduce you to a furry dog friend.  From the Victoria Animal Control.

Howie Gordon: This is Marlin and he is a 10-month-old Terrier, American Pit Bull, Fawn, brown, marble mixed 36 pound baby puppy doggeeeh.  Marlin might be a good service dog because of his focus on his toys and his attentiveness to want to stay with whatever he is doing.  He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.  Marlin is super friendly because I only knew him for 3 seconds before he sat right down on my lap giving me licks and kisses.  He’s been around kids and has done great with kids, teenagers, adults and older people.  In other words, Marlin loves everybody.  When his initial excitement calms down then he’s Pretty content to hang out with anyone and everyone he’s with.  Marlin’s adoption fee is only $143.00.  He has been at the shelter for one month and is ready immediately to go to his furrevver home.

Here’s how you can get to the pawty or in general get in contact with the Victoria Animal Control if you’re interested in Marlin, or any other furry friend.

You can visit them at their location at 122 Perimeter Road here in Victoria. You can also call them.  Their number is 361-578-3564.

For more information on Marlin and Animal Control Victoria then you can go to our website at Cross Roads Today Dot Com.

If you’d like to take a look at all the furry friends they have waiting to find their furrever families.  All available cats and dogs are listed on their website at www.vctx.org/page/health.animal.control.home.  Go to the adoption section to see all of the pets.  Plus, if you lost a pet then you can go to the Stray and Lost Intakes section to see if an animal is in the facility.
