Pet of The Week for Fri-Yay 5-13-22

Adopt Dusty

Pet Of The Week Graphic 5 28 21

Today is Fri-Yay, and here on Sunrise that means it’s also time for Pet of The Week.  A segment where we highlight a couple of shelter pets here in The Crossroads looking for their furrever homes.  This morning we want to introduce you to a furry dog friend, from the Adopt-A-Pet Victoria here in the Crossroads.

Howie: Dusty is a 19 pound, 2 and a half year old Terrier Cross, black, white and grey puppy doggy.  He will never meet a stranger as he has never been aggressive towards people.  He is great with kids of all ages and has never bitten anyone.  Plus, he has never been aggressive towards cats and other dogs.  Dusty was brought to the shelter from City Animal Control and has all of his shots.  He is a good-mannered boy but he can be a toy destroyer when he plays non-stop tugga war with his toys.  Also, he loves his treats almost as much as he loves his toys.  He would respond very well to trigger training and is super fun to watch when he gets the zoomies.  From my just 20-minutes of hanging out with Dusty, I saw all of the signs of a loyal, friendly and awesome pet puppy doggy.

Here’s how you can get to the pawty or in general get in contact with Adopt-A-Pet of Victoria if you’re interested in Dusty, or any other furry friend.

You can visit them at their location at 8215 Houston Highway here in Victoria. You can also call them.  Their number is 361-575-7387.

If you’d like to take a look at all the furry friends they have waiting to find their furrever families.  All available cats and dogs are listed on their Facbook page at https://www.facebook.com/adoptapetvictoria.
