Pennsylvania man indicted in double fatal semi-truck crash in Victoria County
Indictment: Defendant falsified electronic logging device
VICTORIA, County- On July 19, 2020 a semi-truck crashed into a vehicle causing a double fatality. Kassandra Tamez and Georgia Farrell died in the crash. A Victoria County grand jury has indicted Johnny Anthony Drouin, 57, on two counts on manslaughter and two counts on criminal negligent homicide.
The indictment alleges Drouin falsified an electronic logging device so that it did not reflect the actual amount of time he had operated the semi-trailer truck. It also alleges he had not rested in accordance with his employment as a commercial vehicle operator.
Records show Drouin in custody at Beaver County Prison in Pennsylvania.
