Parts of Nursery Drive to close for 4 weeks starting July 30th
VICTORIA, TEXAS – The City of Victoria will close Nursery Drive between Zac Lentz Parkway and Lake Forest Drive to through traffic for reconstruction. The affected area involves Railwood Drive, Woodhaven Drive, Tropical Drive, Yucca Drive and Lake Forest Drive. Weather permitting, this closure is expected to take four weeks.
Access to Tropical Acres will be available via either Tropical Drive or Yucca Drive, depending upon the construction operations. Access to Lake Forest Subdivision to Nursery Drive will be available via Garden Gate Lane. Residents in Lake Forest Subdivision and Tropical Acres Subdivision may be directed to the crossover located north of Sun Valley Drive. The intersections of Nursery Drive and Railwood Drive, Woodhaven Drive and Lake Forest Drive will remain closed for the duration of the project.
Drivers can expect delays in the work zone and should use alternate routes to get around the work zone if possible. All businesses, residents and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes.
This construction is part of the $492,207.14 Nursery Drive Rehabilitation/Overlay Project (Zac Lentz Pkwy. To Lake Forest Dr.). The contractor is Brannan Paving Co., LTD of Victoria, Texas.
