Partly Cloudy, Warm and Breezy; Isolated Light Showers
Warm and Humid Overnight
VICTORIA, Texas — While strong onshore flow has contributed to coastal flood advisories this afternoon, not much in the way of rain has resulted from the associated copious moisture. Isolated showers briefly dampen parts of the Crossroads, and that is about what will be present again on Wednesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms appear Thursday and Friday in response to a weak upper level disturbance, but the main issue this week is heat: highs in the lower to middle 90s, with heat indices above 100 degrees each afternoon. Finally, a true fall cold front arrives Monday morning, knocking highs down to the 80s with lows in the 60s.
