Original Story 3/14/2019:
The Goliad County Fair and Rodeo has officially begun!
The fair, which ends on March 17th, is free to enter and is open to anyone looking for a good time.
Visitors will be able to enjoy rides and games, attend the fair’s livestock show and rodeo and purchase bar-be-que and souvenirs for their loved ones.
Vice president E.J. Bammert says the Goliad County Fair is an opportunity for Goliad’s youth to grow and showcase their talents.
“I think it shows the quality of our youth, you know? There’s…. you hear a lot of bad things about our young people. I think you can come out here and see a lot of good things about our people. And so, I like that. “
Anyone interested in attending tonight still has time. The show’s carnival will be open tonight until 10 PM and will re-open Friday at 9 AM.
