Para Vida Wellness Offers Advice For New Year’s Health Resolutions
With many having getting healthy as a new years resolution, health expert Erica Briggs weighs in on the healthiest way to get started.
Briggs, Owner of Para Vida Wellness in Victoria, says that the first step to making making a lifestyle change in the New Year is writing down everything you eat, really evaluating what you are putting in your body.
The second, she says each fruit and vegetable has a specific function and healing power. Knowing how each can help serve your body will help guide your food choices. Briggs says this was a major factor when cultivating her menu at Para Vida, as many of her smoothies and juice blends are intended to help different dietary issues and diseases.
Don’t like the taste of fruits and veggies? Briggs suggests drinking them. Through Smoothies and freshly pressed juices you can still get the raw nutritional value of eating them.
Briggs believes that eating the right foods can not only reverse damage done by eating fatty processed foods, but also act as a preventative for a healthy new year.
