Cooler Air for Next Week, Along with Major Rain Chances

Moist onshore flow ahead of an approaching upper level storm system and its associated Pacific cold front will mean another round of widespread fog overnight tonight.  Expect isolated overnight shower to become more numerous for your Saturday, with a few late afternoon and evening thunderstorms as the cold front moves through the area.  Next week’s temperatures will be 1o to 20 degrees cooler than Saturday, so expect highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.  A more powerful storm complex arrives New Years Eve and bring widespread rain and thunderstorms for New Years Day and Thursday.  Major atmospheric models suggest 2 to over 3 inches of rain for the Crossroads from this system.
