One man left with substantial burns after house fire in Alamo Beach
CALHOUN COUNTY, Texas – A little after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, a fire destroyed a mobile home in Alamo Beach on La Joie Avenue.
A man in the home sustained substantial burns and the home is a complete loss, said Deputy Johnny Krause with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office and the fire department were not able to confirm how many occupants were in the home at the time of the fire.
The Port Lavaca Fire Department did confirm Seadrift Volunteer Fire Department and Port Lavaca Volunteer Fire Department assisted in the fire.
The granddaughter of the man that sustained substantial burns did confirm her grandfather was transported to San Antonio.
This is still an on-going investigation.
