OLV students using “Chatter” to learn

Students at Our Lady of Victory Catholic School are using “Chatter” to learn new skills in the classroom.

Today eighth grade students worked one-on-one with their younger classmates to test them on their subject, nouns and verbs, but with a twist.

Its an app called “Chatter Pix”.

Students were given iPads and through the app, it allowed them to create lessons plans, using colorful characters, to teach their tiny classmates.

The one-on-one interaction is new this year at OLV and students say they enjoy it.

“They are so energetic and fun and they love working with the older kids and its fun using technology that we haven’t had before,” said OLV student Madison Korinek.

The iPads Are new this school year, and were purchased for student-use through a grant.
