Next week’s forecast: rain chances all around
VICTORIA, Texas – Today is on the warmer side, due to southerly flow returning to the region. Tonight we will cool down into the upper 40s for the last time, at least for a few days. Skies will be mostly clear tonight, but if you have any plans, watch out for patchy fog developing later in the evening. Saturday will be the last call for sunshine for a bit as well, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 70s. That night will see clouds developing back into the region, and lows in the low 60s.
Sunday, moisture increases in a big way across south Texas, leading to scattered showers and even some isolated thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 70s under mostly cloudy skies. A cold front moves through on Monday afternoon, leading to a cooler Tuesday. Rain chances continue and even increase, however. Scattered to numerous showers will be possible through late next week, but Monday’s cold front leads to more normal temperatures for this time of year. The next cold front comes for the Crossroads Thursday evening, taking the moisture with it and cooling us to a below normal Friday. That Friday looks pleasant, with mostly sunny conditions expected.
