Don has been serving the Crossroads community since August 27-1984! Thrty-five years of dedication.
“It means longevity, consistency, and I still enjoy what I do,” exclaims Don. “I also think it means that the viewing public enjoys how I enjoy what I do because they keep watching. If they stopped watching, I’m not here for 35 years.”
In his 35 year career, Don has received many awards, including receiving the sports award from the African-American Chamber of Commerce of Victoria in 2010. “I haven’t seen anyone quite like him before. He is very dedicated to his craft. This is someone I know that he loves what he does and it really shows,” adds Trey Meynig, Meteorologist.
