Wharton Police Department searching for information on HEB robbery suspect

COLUMBUS, Texas - Wharton Police Department is looking for information about a man linked to three robberies in three cities. 

Officer David Freeman says a man driving a white Kia Soul attempted to rob an HEB in Brenham, and Wharton.

Thursday the same man successfully robbed an HEB in the city of Columbus.

Freeman says the man enters a store and passes a note to the clerks asking for money.

During the Columbus robbery the man assaulted two HEB employees before leaving with cash.

Freeman says the Wharton Police Department have a suspect in mind but are still trying to positively identify him.
