VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria Police Department officers arrest three Houston residents following a theft in progress.
On Thursday, at approximately 2:20 p.m., VPD officers responded to to Walmart, 9002 N. Navarro Street, in reference to a theft in progress.
The caller informed officers of a suspect in a white Sedan who was cutting off catalytic converters. Shortly after the call, officers located a vehicle matching the description traveling southbound on Loop 463.
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 12000 block of US Highway 59 North, regarding a suspected vehicle. They contacted the driver and two passengers.
Through further investigation, officers located a reciprocating saw and numerous cut catalytic converters. They then arrested all three suspects for the following charges:
