Drug arrest

HALLETTSVILLE, Texas - Hallettsville police arrested a 19-year-old woman early Thursday morning for possession of marijuana and unlawful carry of a weapon.

On Thursday, at approximately 2:41 a.m., a Hallettsville police officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of E. Fourth St. for a traffic violation. Ultimately, the officer conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located .070 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a 9 millimeter handgun.
