New software for vaccine registration succeeds
Newly purchased software for vaccine registration succeeds, getting 5,100 on waitlist.
VICTORIA, Texas – The vaccine waitlist for phases 1a and 1b opened last week. David Gonzales with the County Public Health Department says the new software they purchased to make registration easier was a success.
On Tuesday, March 2nd, the Health Department will administer the second dose from the first clinic that happened on January 28th.
Gonzales says so far 5,100 people are on the waitlist and they plan to have a clinic again this Thursday, March 4th, to give out 3,000 vaccines.
Eventually, the Health Department wants to push out 5,000 doses per week. They will try to increase the number of doses as they become more efficient.
