Near normal temperatures return late in the week
Showers continue to move into the Crossroads from the west this afternoon. This will continue into tonight, with isolated showers possible early in the evening. Lows will slowly cool into the mid 60s under cloudy skies. Tuesday will be partly cloudy, but the rain will hold off until the evening hours. Highs will climb into the low 80s, a last hoorah for the warmer weather before the cold front.
The cold front is looking to move through in the early morning hours of Wednesday, bringing rain showers into the Crossroads with it. Post cold front, we can expect to remain chilly throughout the day on Wednesday, only getting into the low 60s for highs. Low temperatures that night will plunge into the upper 30s.
The rest of the week will be quite seasonable under sunny skies. Highs will start in the mid 50s on Thursday, creeping back into the 70s as onshore flow returns to the Crossroads area. Expect more rain to come ending the weekend and into early next week, as another system begins to affect our area.
