National Honor For Cuero Football Player

A Cuero football star gets a national honor. Jordan Whittington, named to the Max Preps Sophomore All-America football team. Whittington, named second team All-America on offense, Jordan’s position on the All-America team, all-purpose, and he was exactly that for the Mean Green in 2016. The nation’s sixth-ranked athlete racked up 795 receiving yards, 361 rushing yards, 151 passing yards, 1,825 all-purpose yards and 21 total touchdowns. Whittington also had six interceptions to help Cuero make the 4A Division II State quarterfinals.
